Coverbild/Cover Pic: Louis Vuitton enters Vietnam
This picture was taken in Ho Chi Minh City opposite the Opera House at the corner of the Dong Khoi Street (formerly known as “rue Catinat“), the most famous shopping area of old Saigon. At this site, a new outlet of the luxury brand Luis Vuitton will soon open its doors. A surge of FDI inflows has been registered since the official admission of Vietnam to the WTO in January 2007. Similar to earlier developments in China, this will further contribute to an internationalization of the Central Business Districts of Vietnam‘s metropoles.
