The PACIFIC GEOGRAPHIES (PG), ISSN 1435-8360, is the semi-annual publication of the Association of Pacific Studies (Arbeitsgemeinschaft fuer Pazifische Studien e.V., APSA).

It is published through the Department of Human Geography of Hamburg University, Germany.

The PG provides an interdisciplinary academic platform to discuss social, cultural, environmental and economic issues and developments in the Asia-Pacific region.

In order to uphold scientific standards, PG is applying a peer-review process.

Deadline for the issue No. 41 will be 09 September 2013 and for issue No. 42 it will be 10 March 2014.
